In this dynamic, interactive presentation, participants learn how to use the tools of wellness to pursue optimal health and experience the full joy of sobriety.

John Newport holds doctorates in psychology and public health, and is passionately committed to empowering people in recovery to take charge of their health. He is a leading authority on the role of healthy lifestyles in recovery from addictive disorders, and has authored over 200 articles on addictions and health care issues. He is a featured columnist for Counselor magazine and is serving on a panel convened by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) to develop treatment improvement protocol for health and wellness in recovery.
